NAMS President Patricia Parker and Vice President Tonya Parker are members of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and active participants in the Native American community.
NAMS serves American Indian and Alaska Native sovereign nations. Current activity includes providing training, technical assistance, meeting support, focus group coordination and communications outreach in Alaska and the lower 48 states. Our experienced team members include technical experts in the areas of economic and business development, housing, Native language preservation, environmental issues, health and education.
NAMS provides business consultation and services to Native American organizations and businesses. NAMS welcomes mentor/protégé and teaming relationships with other Native American firms.
Currently Pat Parker is Chairwoman of the Native American Women's Business Council, an Executive Board member of the National Indian Business Association, and an Associate Member of the National Foundation for Women Legislators.
Members of the Cherokee, Chippewa-Cree, Choctaw, Colorado Ute, Oneida, Navajo, Sappony, San Juan Pueblo, and Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate tribes are full time NAMS staff. Additional staff and consultants represent many other American Indian/Alaska Native tribes and villages.
